Reservations Terms and Conditions

We look forward to welcoming you to Hamilton Island! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay, please read our reservation conditions carefully. By making a booking and payment with HamoRent, you are accepting and acknowledging all of these Terms and Conditions. All booking information is private and confidential, viewed only by property owners and within HamoRent.

Booking & Payment

  • Deposit: A 30% deposit of your total booking value is required within 2 days of making your reservation.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival. We’ll send you a friendly reminder email as this date approaches.
  • Last-Minute Bookings: For bookings made within 30 days of your arrival, the full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Failure to Pay: If your deposit or final balance is not received by the due dates, HamoRent reserves the right to cancel your booking.

Cancellations & Amendments

  • Non-Refundable Deposit: Your deposit is non-refundable.
  • Date Changes (More than 60 days out): If you need to change your dates more than 60 days prior to arrival, you may reschedule your booking to a new date within the next 12 months. The new booking must be for the same accommodation, remain in your name, and be of equal or higher value.
  • Cancellations (Within 60 days): If you cancel within 60 days of arrival, any or all payments made are non-refundable. However, if we are able to rebook your exact cancelled dates, we will issue a partial refund.
  • Transfers: In circumstances where you need to cancel within 60 days, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member.
  • Administration Fees: Please note that administration costs may be incurred when making changes to bookings.

Security & Damages

  • Security Agreement: A completed security agreement is required for each property and buggy. This agreement covers any potential damages or breaches of our Terms and Conditions. This process will be completed either prior to or upon your arrival.
  • Check-in Procedure: If our team greets you, we will conduct a brief check-in process. Failure to agree to all terms during this process will deny you access to the property. 
  • Required Documentation: You will need to have your credit card (not debit card) and driver’s license readily available for us to take an image for security purposes.
  • Breach of Terms: Should we receive a report of any breach of our terms and conditions, you agree that we can hold up to $1,000 on your credit card for 5-10 days while the matter is resolved.

Pricing & Property Conditions

  • Prices & Availability: All prices and availability displayed on this website are a guide only and are subject to change or withdrawal without notice at any time.
  • Verbal Quotes: Any verbal quote provided is an estimate only and will be subject to confirmation in a written format.
  • “As Is” Condition: The holiday home and buggy are supplied in an “as is” condition. No refunds or reimbursements will be given for any reason, including if you choose to leave the property earlier than your specified booking. Please remember you are staying on an island; if items need to be replaced or parts ordered, it will take time.

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in Time: 2:00 PM
    • If your holiday home is ready upon your arrival, we’ll take you there immediately.
    • If you arrive on an earlier flight, you may need to wait while your property is being prepared. We recommend keeping any essential items easily accessible.
    • For a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book and pay for the extra night’s accommodation.
  • Check-out Time: 10:00 AM
    • Late check-outs are available only if the schedule permits and cannot be guaranteed unless paid for.
    • Please note that the complimentary buggy is allocated to incoming guests on their check-in day.
    • Should your flight numbers or times change it is your responsibility to advise the reservations office prior to arrival.

General Rental Conditions

  • Minimum Age: The minimum age of the eldest guest staying at the property must be 21 years old.
  • Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to cover unforeseen circumstances.
  • Property & Buggy Use: You agree to ensure the buggy, property, and its inclusions are used and maintained in a reasonable condition. You must report any damages and are responsible for paying for damage caused by misuse, neglect, or abuse during your stay.
  • Cleanliness: You agree to leave the buggy and property clean and tidy upon departure (including the barbeque) in readiness for the next guests. Any additional cleaning required will incur fees deducted from your credit card.
  • Guest Numbers: The exact number of occupants (adults and children with dates of birth) staying in your accommodation must be advised to HamoRent prior to arrival. Failure to advise the correct number of guests will incur the nightly rate fee for additional guests, plus an administration cost of a minimum of $100. Other extra costs may also be incurred for additional guests.
  • Behaviour: All occupants and guests must act in a manner that does not annoy or cause disturbance to others.
  • Pets: Pets are not permitted, with the exception of registered aid animals

Meet and Greet Service

We offer a meet and greet service for most properties. We are there to pick you up from the airport or marina when you arrive onto Hamilton Island. We then escort you to your holiday home for check in.

Complimentary Golf Buggy

Most of our properties come with your very own electric golf buggy making travelling to the various pools and restauraunts on Hamilton Island a breeze.
